Norcross has launched a video surveillance program through Iron Sky, the same company that installed cameras in Lilburn, Decatur and Midtown.
Police Chief Dallas Stidd said the technology will act as "another set of eyes" for police, monitoring high-traffic areas and helping officers nab suspects.
The cameras, paid for with funds from the sale of seized drug property, will be implemented in two phases. The first set of cameras will be installed in Thrasher Park, Lillian Webb Park and along the Buford Highway corridor within city limits.
