The Norcross Public Works, Utilities and Parks department returned to the Norcross City Council Dec. 7 with a request to increase funding for the city’s scheduled Parks Master Plan Update.

After receiving four proposals, it became apparent the $15,000 originally budgeted for the master plan revision was not sufficient.

Based on the Parks Master Plan Selection Committee, the Norcross City Council approved $42,990 to go to Lose and Associates Inc. for the plan and $6,100 for future capital improvements.
