Norcross closed the bidding window Tuesday for construction bids on the Norcross Pedestrian Connectivity program. The projects include construction of sidewalks at four separate sites within the city.
Site one consists of a 5- to 12-foot wide sidewalk/streetscape on the west side of Britt Avenue to Bostic Street, and a 5-foot sidewalk on the east side of Britt Avenue. Site two consists of a 5-foot sidewalk on the south side of West Peachtree Road from Jimmy Carter Boulevard to just west of Langford Drive.
Site three consists of a 5-foot sidewalk on the south side of Pinnacle Way west of Beaver Ruin Road. Site four will be a 5-foot sidewalk on the west side of Reps Miller Road north of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
Once the city selects a contractor from qualifying bidders, works is expected to be completed within 120 days.
