Nightly lane closures will continue on I-985 through mid-October to complete the grinding and striping project between Gwinnett and Hall counties near Gainesviille.
The lane closures will take place 7 p.m. overnight to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday on both the northbound and southbound sides from Buford Drive/Ga. 20 (Exit 4) to Spout Springs Road (Exit 12).
This construction project includes work to smooth, increase skid resistance and reduce noise on the roadway’s driving surface. Drivers are reminded to plan ahead if they are traveling this way as there will be workers and equipment in the lanes.
