New members join DeKalb mental health group

A non-profit group that supports behavioral health and developmental disability services provided by the DeKalb Community Service Board has named five new board members.

Kevin McKinnon, who owns and operates a healthcare consulting firm, will take over as chairman of the Brighter Tomorrows Foundation. Sue Steel, the managing director of financial consulting firm, will serve as vice chair.

Also joining the board are Rand Knight, Melissa Hodge-Penn and Peter Williams.

The board helps direct the community care offered by the service board.
