A new Longhorn Steakhouse is opening in Braselton, the Atlanta-founded restaurant chain announced.
The new outpost slinging steaks and other grilled goods will open its doors at 2700 Old Winder Highway on Sept. 17. The 5,465-square-foot restaurant will employ 60 people, and is still hiring workers.

To celebrate the restaurant’s opening, there will be a “lasso cutting” ceremony at 2 p.m. Sept. 17. A “special guest” will cut into a steak, not an actual lasso, to officially declare the Braselton location open for business.
The restaurant will serve its first customers at 3 p.m. that day. Once open, the new location’s regular hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
