New N. Fulton cigar lounge features largest humidor in metro Atlanta

Smokers and drinkers will have a new spot to hang out in north Fulton County.

Cutters Cigar & Spirits will open its new location in June at 4915 Windward Parkway in Alpharetta. The new lounge will feature cigars, drinks and live music.

The new facility will feature a 4,000-square-foot cigar lounge, an outdoor smoking area, a private club room for parties and a 600-square-foot humidor – the largest in metro Atlanta. The indoor lounge will have comfortable seating for 45 people, while the outdoor patio will accommodate 35. The club room will have a conference table for business clients to reserve.

Cutters, in a release, says its clean air environment is made possible by the newest smoke ventilation system designed by Honeywell.

The new location will build on its current business relationship with premiere cigar maker Davidoff. Cutters Cigar & Spirits will become only the fourth exclusive Avo cigar lounge in the United States.

“We're looking forward to really enhancing the cigar experience with our clients and continuing to grow our business here in Alpharetta,” Cutters' owner Russ Sutton said in a statement. “We have always placed hospitality at the front of our business model. That and the best selection of fine, rare and premium cigars have made us the number one cigar destination in the South.”

The existing Cutters Cigar Emporium at 5530 Windward Parkway will remain open while work continues at the new location.

“Alpharetta has been great,” Sutton said. “They have embraced us, and we're grateful for that.”

The open house party for its grand opening will take place on June 16 and 17 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
