A rezoning request for about 18.69 acres on the south side of Jonesboro Road east of Towne Centre Village Drive was approved with conditions June 19 by the Henry County Board of Commissioners.
The request was for a resort-style multi-family development. Conditions included leaving the maximum number of units at 540 and keeping a 3,700-square-foot clubhouse, junior-sized Olympic pool and children’s playground.
The motion also required that a minimum of 75 percent of the multi-family units be one or two bedrooms.
