A Cumming woman was killed Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle wreck on Ga. 400 in Dawson County.

Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright told the AJC that Krista M. Stein, 47, was a passenger on a northbound Harley-Davidson that collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe that was attempting to cross the northbound lanes of Ga. 400 from Henry Grady Highway around 12:45 p.m.

The motorcycle driver, 53-year-old Daniel Stein of Cumming, was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, Wright said.

Neither the Tahoe driver, Ronnie Hugh Anglin, 61, of Flowery Branch, nor Anglin's passenger, 60-year-old Shirley Anglin, were seriously injured.

Wright said the crash remains under investigation by the State Patrol's Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team, with charges pending.
