It will be a rainy weekend, but that doesn’t mean you have to stay home and be bored; there are plenty of indoor events to brighten your mood.

Downtown Atlanta will be crowded with motocross fans Saturday night as the Monster Energy AMA Supercross tour makes a 7 p.m. stop at the Georgia Dome.

Friday night, the Hawks take on Sacramento at Philips Arena, while the UniverSoul Circus will be set up in the Green Lot at Turner Field through March 3.

If you want to get a circus fix without venturing downtown, “Ringling Bros. and Barnun & Bailey presents Dragons” will be performing all weekend at the Gwinnett Arena.

Other events this weekend include Saturday night’s So So Def 20th Anniversary All-Star Concert at the Fox Theatre.

Weekend road construction is scheduled on several metro interstates, including the top-end Perimeter, where up to three eastbound lanes will be closed from Paces Ferry Road to just past Powers Ferry Road. On the westbound side, the three left lanes of I-285 will be closed from Ashford Dunwoody Road to just past Ga. 400.

The left lane of the Downtown Connector northbound will be closed near I-20, while in DeKalb County, a couple of lanes of I-20 eastbound are scheduled to be closed from Columbia Drive to Wesley Chapel Road.

All of the road construction is weather-permitting, which could delay the lane closings for at least part of the weekend.

Channel 2 Action News meteorologist David Chandley said Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain and highs in the upper 40s, but Sunday should be sunny, with highs in the upper 50s.
