A former schoolteacher and licensed nurse was arrested Wednesday, charged with possessing child pornography and meth.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents and Upson County Sheriff's deputies conducted a search of Dawn Deborah Brantley's Thomaston home, where they discovered images of child porn on her computer, methamphetamine and meth smoking devices.

Brantley, 44, has three children -- two teens and a 12-year-old -- who were taken from the home and placed into temporary custody of the Upson County Department of Family and Children Services, said GBI spokesman John Bankhead. She remains in Upson County Jail.

More arrests are likely, Bankhead said.

Brantley was the 112th person apprehended this year by the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Over the years "less than five percent" of those arrests have been women, Bankhead said.

Thomaston is located about 65 miles south of Atlanta in central Georgia.
