Monroe shooting leaves one dead
Monroe police are investigating a Monday night shooting that left a man dead.
The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. on East Fambrough Street in the Walton County town 45 miles east of Atlanta.
Officers responding to a report of shots fired found the man dead in the yard of a home.
The victim's identity has not been released. Police have not determined a motive for the shooting.
