The Milton Trails Advisory Committee invites residents to stop by the Council Chambers at Milton City Hall on Tuesday to view the newly completed update of the city’s trail plan.

The "open house" begins at 5:30 p.m., according to a city Facebook posting. Visitors can view boards with pictures and maps for suggested trail projects. City staff and trail experts will be on hand to discuss the proposals. The update, in process since last spring, included public meetings and surveys to gather residents' input, officials said.

A Trails Advisory Committee meeting follows at 6:30 p.m. Next stop for the plan will be the City Council.

“The Trails Advisory Committee and the city are excited to present our plans to residents,” said Michele McIntosh-Ross, Milton’s principal planner. “Soon you will start seeing the implementation of these trails that aligns with the city’s green space strategy.”
