City of Milton firefighters are now conducting bi-yearly life safety inspections of businesses, schools and non-residential occupancies.
Among other things, firefighters are looking for working emergency lights, properly lighted exit signs, current annual inspection tags on all fire extinguishers and accessible emergency exits.
