The Milton City Council has approved on first presentation admission fees for the swimming pool, and an agreement to let the Milton Mustangs Swim Team use it, at the newly acquired Milton Country Club.
The admission fee would be sold two ways – as a daily fee of $5 per person, and a seasonal pass in four-, five- and six-guest varieties at a respective cost of $200, $250 and $300, according to a memo to the council from Parks and Recreation Director Jim Cregge. A replacement pass would cost $5. The pool would not be rentable for private events.
In a related matter, the council approved a Parks and Recreation Department Athletic Association Manual and Facility Use Agreement with the Mustangs, which will run a swim team program at the county club. The price is $140 per participant. A 15 percent commission on registration, or $21, will go to the city.
The swim team has registered 66 swimmers, and the 2018 season will officially begin May 14, according to a city update to residents.
