The document says Emory Johns Creek Hospital wants to construct a two-story addition that spans over 84,000 square feet, which will add a fifth and sixth floor to the hospital.
The sixth floor will be a “clinical space” with 21 inpatient medical beds and 19 observation beds. The fifth floor will be “non-clinical space” consisting of conference rooms, storage and sleep rooms for physicians. A two-chair inpatient dialysis room will also be built on the fifth floor.
Emory Johns Creek Hospital serves Fulton, Forsyth, Gwinnett, DeKalb, Hall, Cobb and Cherokee counties. It first opened in 2007.
