One lucky Atlanta resident is $1 million richer after playing Mega Millions, which has a jackpot of $339 million, earlier this week.

The winning ticket was sold at Cascade Food Mart on 1072 Cascade Road. The winner would have had to match all five white ball numbers to earn the $1 million prize.

The winning numbers for the May 10 drawing were: 3, 16, 21, 61, 62 and the Mega Ball number was 19.

Two additional winning tickets worth $10,000 were sold at the Publix Super Market on 7736 Spalding Drive in Norcross and Robinson & Sons at 14 Commerce Place in Tallapoosa.

A few days later, on May 14, another winning ticket worth $40,000 was sold at a Quik Stop on 2206 Second Ave. in Columbus. Two more prizes worth $10,000 were sold at the 7 to 7 Newstand at 600 West Peachtree St. in Atlanta and a Circle K on 215 Fourth St. in Columbus.

The winning numbers in that drawing were 11, 59, 66, 67, 68 and the Mega Ball was 18.

The Mega Millions jackpot has grown since March 15 and rolled 18 times. The next drawing is Friday at 11:59 p.m.

The winner can choose the lump-sum prize of $210 million or received annual payments over the next 29 years.
