Two engineering studies for McDonough’s water and sewer systems were approved by the City Council at its Sept. 5 workshop meeting.

Turnipseed Engineers will provide the services to assess critical parts of the systems and make recommendations for the city’s future growth needs, according to a staff report. The two studies will cost a combined $100,100. In a separate item, the council voted to approve the $52,000 purchase of a Kubota track loader out of the Water Distribution Department’s budget.

Also approved was an agreement for agenda management and video production software related to council meetings being broadcasted and archived on the city’s website. That agreement includes an initial cost of $16,650 and recurring annual costs of $12,000.
