A former McDonald’s manager accused of punching a mother at a Marietta restaurant has been brought back to Cobb County and bonded out of jail Wednesday, authorities said.

Tiffany Denise Allen was returned to Georgia from Wilmington, N.C., where police served her with an arrest warrant at her home in that city on July 25.

She was booked into Cobb County Jail on Wednesday and was released on $3,000 bond that morning, according to Nancy M. Bodiford, spokeswoman for the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.

Allen’s arraignment is scheduled for Oct. 5 in Cobb County State Court, a spokeswoman for the county Solicitor General’s Office said.

The arrest warrant for Allen, 25, charges her with simple battery, simple assault and disorderly conduct in connection with the July 12 incident at the McDonald’s at 1291 Bells Ferry Road.

A woman entered the McDonald’s with her autistic children and a service dog, according to the warrant. Allen, who was off duty at the time, became irate about the dog in the restaurant.

Though the mother explained the dog was legally allowed to be in the restaurant, Allen allegedly continued to berate her, followed her around and into a bathroom.

When one of the children wandered off and the mother ran after her, Allen followed the woman outside and hit her in the face, the warrant says.
