Marietta has the highest fire insurance rating in the nation.
That Class 1 ISO rating is held by only 120 fire departments of 47,500 nationwide.
Fire Chief Jackie Gibbs said this rating will help lower insurance rates of city residents.
ISO challenge coins are available for $10 each as a fundraiser for the city’s fire museum, he added.
