Marietta police have identified the men – including one shot and killed by a police officer – connected with an armed robbery and home invasion Tuesday.

Jacolby Booker, 19, and Zachery Morrison, 21, both of Marietta, were arrested Tuesday after forcing a couple in the parking lot of the Autumn View Apartments into their home at gunpoint. Booker and Morrison have been charged with a number of felonies.

Antonio Tyler, 18, of Marietta, also was with Booker and Morrison. He was shot and killed by a Marietta police officer, a police spokeswoman confirmed.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday when three men – Booker, Morrison and Tyler -- confronted a man and a woman in the parking lot of the Autumn View Apartments on Franklin Road and forced them into their apartment at gunpoint, Marietta Police Officer Jenny Murphy told the AJC.

Officers arrived and confronted Tyler, Murphy said. When he refused to comply with the officers' demands to drop his weapon, the officer shot and killed the suspect, she said.

Booker and Morrison were taken into custody within about 20 minutes. There were no other injuries, Murphy said.

The Marietta police officer involved in the shooting has been placed on administrative leave. His name has not been released.

Booker and Morrison have been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, kidnapping, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, false imprisonment and burglary.
