The Marietta City Council approved Wednesday several street name changes.
In honor of the 150th anniversary of Zion Baptist Church, “Zion Blvd. Dedicated to ZBC (est. 1866)” will be on Lemon Street between Cherokee and Cole Streets.
On the former campus of Southern Polytechnic State University, 11 streets will be renamed that is now the Marietta Campus of Kennesaw State University.
Those streets are Rossbacher Way, Cheshier Road, Arnston Drive, Walter Kelly Road, Koger Drive, Clair Harris Road, Goat Path, Hornet Loop, Stinger Loop, Hexagon Way and Hexagon Drive.
