Home Depot founders Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank are scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the 2010 JCCs of North America Biennial Conference.
The conference, which runs from May 2 though May 5 at the downtown Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotel, brings together more than 500 lay leaders and professionals from Jewish community centers throughout the nation.
Topics include leadership, fundraising, marketing strategies and fiscal responsibility. The association is the leadership network of the Jewish Community Center Movement.
The MJCCA, in partnership with the JCCs of North America convention has also initiated a social action project called Project GIVE (Giving Impacts Virtually Everyone) and is seeking donations for local social service agencies in Atlanta. Items needed include: first aid supplies, eyeglasses and sunglasses, toiletries and school supplies.
Donations may be dropped off at MJCCA-Zaban Park, 5342 Tilly Mill Rd.
