Within the next few weeks, Peachtree Corners residents will see a specially equipped truck traveling around city streets. The truck is outfitted with cameras, lasers and other high-tech equipment designed to collect data about city roadways. Information will be gathered on locations of utility poles, signs, sidewalks, driveways, above ground utilities and other relevant city statistics.
The data will provide Peachtree Corners with an inventory of assets to assist the city when troubleshooting problems as they arise and better coordinate the design of future roadway projects.
