Atlanta firefighters rescued a man from a warehouse fire early Monday, officials said.
The fire broke out around 5 a.m. in a warehouse at Warner Street and Sylvan Road in southwest Atlanta, said Capt. Alfredo Sealy of the Atlanta Fire Department.
The building, which appeared to be a business, Sealy said, was fully engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived. Officials learned that a man used an area of the building for housing and were able to break into the building to rescue him, Sealy said.
No one was hurt in the fire, though the building is a total loss, he said.
