A male removed from a burning car in Buckhead is expected to survive his injuries, police said.

The victim was inside a black Mercedes Benz that was burning at the intersection of Moores Mill Road and St. Annes Lane, said Sgt. Curtis Davenport of the Atlanta Police Department.

Davenport said the male, as yet unidentified, was "unresponsive." The male was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

The intersection is near St. Anne's Episcopal Church about a quarter mile east of the I-75 exit to Moores Mill Road.
