A man was killed Monday morning when he drove his Honda Fit into the rear of a tractor-trailer truck parked on the shoulder of a southbound ramp on to Interstate 85 in DeKalb County, police said.
Spokeswoman Mekka Parish said investigators do not know why the man left the road that feeds cars from Pleasantdale Road in DeKalb County onto the interstate. His name was not released because relatives have not been contacted.
There was no one in the truck. No one else was hurt in the 8:30 a.m. crash.
