The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office on Monday morning was still trying to identify the male who apparently fell to his death near the Georgia State MARTA station on Sunday.
The incident occurred around 9:20 a.m. Sunday at Jesse Hill Drive and Decatur Street, according to authorities. Details are sketchy.
A MARTA spokesman confirmed that someone had fallen in that area.
"I've confirmed that a person fell outside of the Georgia State station this morning and was transported to Grady. That's all the information I have at this time," spokesman Cara Hodgson said in an email.
Police on the scene told Channel 2 Action News that the person appears to have been trying to enter the station from an adjacent property when he fell.
