Five Roswell police officers were honored recently by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) of Georgia for their efforts to stop drunk driving.
The officers honored at MADD’s Seventh Annual Golden Shield Honors were: Erin Johnson, Scott Lappin, Joshua Ott, James Spivey and Kyle Ratliff.
The awards were given to recognize law enforcement agencies, officers and people in the community who lead initiatives to prevent drunk driving, support victims of the crime and stop underage drinking.
