Residents are invited to an informational meeting Nov. 11 to discuss the draft Mableton form based code.

The draft code, called a SmartCode, was created to  guide the design of an area to allow for mixed-use and walkable communities. The code was developed from work by Duany, Plater-Zyberk and Company, and will be used in redesigning the Mableton area.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the South Cobb Regional Library at 805 Clay Road in Mableton.
