The Cobb County Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at Burger King at 809 Veteran’s Memorial Highway in Mableton.
A man carrying a gun and wearing a dark green ski mask robbed employees around 6:25 a.m. Thursday. The thief drove away toward Interstate 285 on Veterans Memorial Highway in a black Nissan Maxima.
He is described as a dark-skinned black male about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 lbs. He wore dark, knee-length shorts and a gray t-shirt.
