If you’re on the hunt for a new job, you may want to consider applying somewhere in Atlanta.

The metro area was recently named one of 2017's best cities in the U.S. for job seekers by employment-related search engine Indeed.com, which evaluated local labor market of the 50 U.S. metros with the most postings on the job site.

Analysts examined each market’s average salary (adjusted for cost of living) plus a multitude of scores posted in Indeed’s review database for work-life balance, job security and advancement opportunities.

Each metro earned a score based on the key considerations.

The top city for job seekers in 2017, according to Indeed.com, is Miami, Florida, which earned a score of 89.2.

Atlanta, at No. 14, scored 68.6 on the list.

According to Indeed analysts, the top 15 metros on the list are in the southern and western regions of the country.
