Seven candidates will vie for three seats on the Locust Grove City Council this fall, including all three incumbents. All of the council posts are at-large and the top three vote-getters in the Nov. 7 election from the entire field will take office in January.

The incumbents are Sammy Brown, Keith Boone and Willie Taylor. Challengers include Rudy Breedlove, David Brown, John R. Gardner and Nathan C. Harrison.

Locust Grove is the only city in Henry County without a mayoral race this year.
