Local snack bar in Lilburn will now sell beer

El Paraiso Express at 550 Pleasant Hill Road, Suite 206, was approved Monday for an alcohol license by the Lilburn City Council. El Paraiso Express is expanding from a snack bar to a full-service restaurant. Only beer will be sold at this location.
According to the city’s Alcohol Review Board’s documents, all customers who appear to be less than 50 years old are required to display identification before sale of alcohol occurs. Servers are instructed to track the amount of beer that is sold to a customer and limit amounts to prevent overindulging. Signage in the restaurant also indicates the intention to check identification.
This location has not held an alcohol license previously.
