The Lilburn City Council voted unanimously Monday to approve an application for state transportation funding through the Local Maintenance Improvement Grant. Including a 30 percent match by the city, the total cost of the three projects will be $155,322.

West Johns Road, Bradley Woods Court and Old Manor Court will be milled, patched, paved and striped. The roads were selected based on their condition as rated by a private consultant. Work will begin 45-90 days after receipt of the grant funds.
