Atlanta-Fulton's Auburn Avenue Research Library will hold a community forum Saturday on the legacy of baseball's "Negro leagues" and their impact on modern sports. It's a tie-in with Major League Baseball's upcoming 2012 Civil Rights Game, when the Braves play the Dodgers at home on Aug. 18.

"The Rise and Fall of Negro League Baseball" starts at 4 p.m. at 101 Auburn Ave., N.E., downtown Atlanta. Participants will include Nasir Muhammad, historian for Black Mecca of The South Tours, and sports journalist Terence Moore. Information: 404-730-4001, Ext. 100.
