Gwinnett County police are searching for clues in the fatal stabbing of a Lawrenceville woman.

Officers discovered Parviz Moledina’s body in her home at 1403 Alamein Drive late Wednesday night. The 64-year-old, who lived alone, died from several stab wounds, a Gwinnett police spokesman said.

Moledina’s 2007 Volvo station wagon was missing from her residence but the vehicle turned up Thursday in the parking lot of Sugarloaf Mills Mall. Several hours of surveillance inside and outside the mall yielded no suspects, the police spokesman said.

Anyone with information related to this case is asked to contact the Gwinnett homicide unit at 770-513-5300.
