Lawrenceville has officially opened the application process for all requests to hold an event in Lawrenceville during 2017. The Special Event Policy and Application, established by the City Council in 2014, covers requests for use of the Lawrenceville Lawn, road closures due to rental of the Historic Gwinnett County Courthouse grounds and pre-approved parade routes, 5K or 10K run/walk events.

Applications for all events occurring in 2017 will be accepted through July 31. Once the city’s event calendar for 2017 has been established, no events will be added or road closures granted. When the next application window opens, events will be accepted for the following calendar year.
