Lawrenceville residents are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new public works facility 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 12 at 435 West Pike St. Lawrenceville representatives including Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson and City Manager Chuck Warbington along with project management team of Croft and Associates will officially open the $20 million public works facility, the new home to the city’s gas, electric, damage prevention, fleet maintenance, streets and sanitation departments.

City officials will discuss how this project not only provides a much-needed improvement to the working environment for employees but also serves as an essential first-step toward completion of Gwinnett’s largest redevelopment project currently underway – the South Lawn in downtown Lawrenceville. Tours will be available following the ribbon cutting.
