Lawrenceville yoga studio offering free outdoor classes all summer

Why go inside for hot yoga when you can utilize Georgia’s steamy summer weather outdoors?

A downtown Lawrenceville yoga studio is offering free classes on the Lawrenceville Lawn all summer. The classes are every last Thursday of the month, beginning on May 30 and ending on Aug. 29.

Each class, held by Performance Power Yoga will be an hour long and will begin at 7 p.m. The outdoor sessions are designed for all ages and skill levels, so whether you have never even attempted child’s pose or you’re already a master yogi, you can get a good workout.

If you attend, it’s recommended you bring a yoga mat, some water and a towel. The towel can help with both mopping up sweat and getting more traction on the mat for slippery hands.
