The Lawrenceville city council agreed Monday to proceed with next steps to create a new section of sidewalk and improve drainage issues on Moon Road. The project will include the survey and design for sidewalk, curb and gutter from the eastern property line of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at Scenic Highway to Davis Road. Recently installed existing sidewalk, curb and gutter will not be replaced.
Work will be done under the transportation demand services contract. This project is part of the work specified and approved in the latest SPLOST agreement with Gwinnett.
The contract with Hayes James and Associates for survey and design will cost $27,840.
