The Lawrenceville City Council voted recently to contract with Richport Properties to provide project management services to oversee the relocation of 16 to 20 housing units to approximately 3.13 acres of city owned property on Constitution Boulevard. These townhomes will be constructed for the ultimate purpose of transferring the finished homes to the Lawrenceville Housing Authority in exchange for existing Housing Authority property near City Hall.

Richport Properties is the same firm developing the $20 million project on Oak Street.

The project manager will provide total oversight of the project from beginning of project until a fully completed turnkey project is approved by the Lawrenceville Housing Authority and delivered to the city. Within thirty days, the program manager will provide the city with a conceptual plan, a proposed schedule, and a proposed construction budget for the project.

Cost for the project management services will not to exceed the lesser of 4 percent of the project cost as determined by the chosen bid or $80,000.
