Lanes on I-285 at Ga. 400 reopen after truck spills raw sewage

Lanes blocked earlier Friday due to an overturned tractor-trailer carrying sewage water have been reopened, authorities said.

Four lanes of I-285 eastbound were blocked in addition to the Ga. 400 southbound ramp to I-285 after the truck overturned, spilling sewage water and fuel, Sandy Springs police said.

No other vehicles were involved when the tractor-trailer landed on its side, and no serious injuries were reported, police said.
