Single lane closures on State Route 316 eastbound and westbound between Harry McCarthy Road and Carl Bethlehem Road in Bethlehem began Jan. 8 and will continue until Jan. 25 while work continues to improve the intersection at S.R. 316 at SR. 81. This will allow contractors to install temporary concrete barriers and guardrails.
Work will continue daily with lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Double lane closures are not permitted on this project.
CMES Inc. of Norcross was awarded the project in the summer of 2017 and has a scheduled completion date of fall 2020.
