Lane closures continue along Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford

Assuming weather permits, construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will be using single lane closures along Ga. 347/Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford as the widening project in this area continues. The lane closures will take place 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. through March 27. The schedule may be extended is weather prevents work this week.

Crews will be conducting final asphalt topping and sidewalk and sod installation on Ga. 327 between Holiday Marina and McEver Road.

Drivers are reminded to slow down and drive safely through the construction zone.
