The management of Lake Lanier has renewed its call for people to bid on park attendant contractor campground positions for the March-September 2020 season.

“For this position, you can expect to work a rotating four-day shift including all of the federal holidays that fall within your scheduled work days,” the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said. “You will need to provide your own RV or camper and expect to live on site for the duration of the camping season.”

Park attendants provide information and assistance to the public, control access, open and close gates, monitor visitor compliance with the rules, issue user permits, reserve sites and facilities, register campers and visitors, and collect fees, among other duties.

Applicants and those seeking more information can contact the campground manager at: daniel.c.barnes@usace.army.mil Bid submissions are due by 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16. Information: https://bit.ly/37z54TQ
