Lake City holds June election

Lake City residents will vote in a special election on June 15 the fill the vacant city council seat. The vacancy resulted from the death of Councilmember Yvonne Kelly, who passed away late last year. Early voting will be available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 26 through June 12, not including weekends. The polls will be opened at the Lake City Community Center, 5471 Jonesboro Road, adjacent to City Hall.
