Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business this fall will begin offering courses leading to a master’s of business administration degree at City Springs in downtown Sandy Springs.
The classes result from a partnership of KSU, Sandy Springs and the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, according to a city announcement. Information: https://bit.ly/2JILqv8
“There are so many people working in Sandy Springs that the population almost doubles every day from 9 to 5,” said Dennis Marrow, associate director of recruiting for the Coles College MBA programs. “There is a strong need in that market for a nationally ranked, highly accredited MBA program that allows students to continue to work full-time while they earn their MBA.”
The City Springs MBA location is KSU’s third, after the main campus in Kennesaw and Cobb Galleria. Working professionals pursuing an MBA typically take two courses per semester; each class meets one night a week, and a degree can be completed in as little as 17 months, officials said.
KSU and Sandy Springs first announced their partnership in April 2018, and the university has been working with the city and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to launch the program, officials said.
