Kroger recalls biscuits, ice cream products in Georgia over possible listeria

Popular supermarket Kroger issued two recalls on two separate products at multiple stores this week, citing concerns over possible listeria contamination.

According to the company's Recall Alerts page, multiple varieties of Mary B's frozen biscuits as well as Kroger Arctic Blasters ice cream bars sold in the state of Georgia are affected.

Mary B’s Buttermilk biscuits

The Mary B’s frozen biscuits recall includes Buttermilk Value Packs of 20, Southern Made Value Packs of 20, Buttermilk Tea Biscuits of 24, Butter Taste Value Pack Biscuits of 20 and Thins Buttermilk Biscuits.

The best if used by date is Sept. 23, 2018. The product also contains the letter “M” after “and before” on the label.

The Kroger Arctic Blasters recall includes the no sugar added and reduced fat 12-count bars.

The sell by date on both products is Jan. 1, 2018 through Dec. 31, 2018.

If eaten, the company notes, it may result lead to severe sickness in pregnant individuals or those with weakened immune systems.
