As many businesses continue to suffer during the coronavirus pandemic, Kroger is looking to expand its employee base and hire 500 people in its Atlanta division, the company announced in a news release.

The Atlanta Division includes stores in Georgia, Eastern Alabama and South Carolina.

Kroger began expediting its hiring process on March 13, hiring more than 7,800 new workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the release. Since March, the company has hired more than 100,000 workers nationwide.

Potential hires can apply for positions at jobs.kroger.com.
